Why Choose Physio2U?

Hello, I’m Kim Hall, Registered Physiotherapist, Founder, and Owner of Physio2U – BC’s largest Mobile Physiotherapy Service, serving 25 cities in Greater Vancouver, Fraser Valley, and the Comox Valley when and where YOU need it most. We best serve seniors or people unable to go to a physiotherapy clinic so you can be back on your feet as soon as possible and continue to be strong, mobile, and independent doing the things YOU love most. We do this by taking the time to understand your situation and then empowering you with movements, motion, and empathy rather than pain medication or unnecessary surgeries. What To Expect

The Physiotherapist or Kinesiologist will come to your home, office, or any other location that is convenient to you!

The assessment session will last about 1 hour. Treatment sessions are 50 minutes to 1-hour long. The therapist will need to ask you questions about your health history and current problem or injury. You can expect this to take 10 to 20 minutes. As Physiotherapists are licensed-health care professionals and are legally required to take real-time notes for medical-legal purposes, the therapist will be typing on a laptop or tablet using our secure electronic medical records system during your session. The servers for our electronic records system are in Canada. The therapist will need to put their hands on you. It is a good idea to wear shorts or a sleeveless top to provide the best assessment and treatment possible. Please note that the time required to conduct requested or necessary communication to doctors, family members or third parties will be included in your 1-hour session.

Yes. Once you book an assessment with a Physiotherapist or Kinesiologist, you will have the same practitioner each visit. If the therapist takes time off, then a replacement therapist will be provided during that time frame.

If possible, wear loose comfortable clothing. Please have ready any doctor’s referral note, diagnostic imaging reports and a list of your medications handy. The therapist may need about 4 x 8 feet of space to set up the portable plinth to provide a thorough assessment.

The therapist will likely prescribe home exercises and make some recommendations to help you. It will be important for you to follow this advice for achieving optimal outcomes.

After the Physiotherapist or Kinesiologist completes their initial assessment, they will advise you of their recommended treatment plan. This plan will include the recommended frequency and duration of your treatment. You are welcome to stop treatment at any time.

You will book your subsequent sessions directly with your Physiotherapist or Kinesiologist. You are also welcome to call the office at any time to schedule a subsequent appointment.

All our Physiotherapists travel with a portable plinth and personal protective equipment. The machines they travel with vary amongst the Physiotherapists. If you have special interest in a particular machine, please inquire with one of our Care Coordinators.

Physio2U provides insurance-covered mobile physiotherapy, billed directly to
Pacific Blue Cross, ICBC, Veterans Affairs Canada, WorkSafeBC and many other extended benefit companies.
