Physio2U is proud to serve 22 cities around the Greater Vancouver, Fraser Valley, and Comox Valley including Powell River. We do not charge extra for travel expenses so you won’t pay more to be treated in the comfort of your own home.
During your in-home physiotherapy session we’ll spend one-hour with you treating your condition and showing you exercises you can do in your home to help alleviate your symptoms. Many of our patients find physiotherapy at-home makes keeping up with your physio exercises much easier because you’ll receive a demonstration of how to perform them accurately and safely in your home until your next appointment.

Kim’s Story – At the age of 14, Kim sustained her first significant sports injury that left her limping. Her neighbour suggested she see her physiotherapist. When Kim experienced treatment and learned about the intimate knowledge of human anatomy and physiology that a physiotherapist has and how they help people return to doing the things they love, she was hooked. She knew then and there that she would be a physiotherapist when she grew up. After establishing her career within the hospital system, she realized the gap in care between discharge home and being able-bodied enough to attend a clinic for rehabilitation. She started Physio2U in 2012 to help fill this gap and has developed expertise in senior care, post-surgery and helping victims of orthopedic trauma. Kim is also an experienced health care advocate and assists individuals and family members with the transition from living at home and moving to long-term care.

When Kim is not at work: Kim practices what she preaches. She is preparing her body to still be able to hike, walk along a rocky beach and lift heavy things when she is a centenarian. In her spare time, Kim loves to be outdoors and run, hike, stand up paddle and admire nature.
