Whether you live in a remote location or you aren’t able to have one of our team members come to your home, you can still benefit from our physiotherapy services!

FAQs

What are the benefits of a virtual visit?

Virtual visits have helped our clients reclaim their comfort and independence—from finally sleeping in their own bed instead of a recliner, to regaining enough shoulder mobility to wash their own hair, to returning to the sports they love—all while saving hours of travel and waiting time.

What injuries and pain can a virtual visit treat?

Virtual visits can support a wide range of injuries, pain, and mobility issues. We can help identify the problem, educate you on how to manage a condition, and provide guided rehabilitation exercise programs as well as recommendations for pain management and healing.

Can a virtual visit help me if my surgery was delayed?

Yes. We’ll do an assessment and identify any limitations affecting your daily life, address your exact symptoms, and provide a tailored exercise program. This often includes strengthening and mobility work to support your body, improve function, and prepare you for a smoother recovery once surgery takes place.

What happens in a virtual physio appointment?

Your physiotherapist will complete a detailed assessment by asking about your injury, symptoms, and daily activities. They’ll guide you through simple strength and movement tests, provide personalized exercise recommendations, and offer advice on your home setup to reduce injury risks and support recovery.

Who can be treated with a virtual visit?

People of all ages can benefit from virtual visits, especially those who are short on time. Whether you’re looking to get back into sports after an injury or you want to help someone maintain their balance and mobility, a virtual visit can be really beneficial.

Is a virtual visit covered by insurance?

Yes – when it comes to your insurance plan, a virtual visit is handled the same way as any other physiotherapy visit.

Physio2U provides insurance-covered mobile physiotherapy, billed directly to Pacific Blue Cross, ICBC, Veterans Affairs Canada, WorkSafeBC and many other extended benefit companies.

Our Team

01

Physiotherapists

Our experienced team includes licensed and insured Registered Physiotherapists. Collectively, our team has a wide range of skills and areas of expertise. We believe that in order to provide you with the best value and best service possible for your rehabilitation, you will be seen only by a Registered Physiotherapist from our outstanding team.

02

Kinesiologists

During an assessment, you and your Kinesiologist will discuss the accident or incident related to your visit. They will ask about previous ailments and perform range of motion, strength, and palpation tests. This will help your Kinesiologist pinpoint where the body is stressed, and which areas to work on. As various tissues are interconnected, the rehabilitative work may not always be at the point of pain.

03

Care Coordinators

To provide physiotherapy services that exceed expectations, the Physio2U therapists are supported by an operations team. This includes management and administrative staff with a variety of skill sets. The operations team acts with compassion, ensures provision of excellent customer service and creates a culture of continuous improvement so we can better help you.
